EDUCATION AND NTC'S





Education & Ntic' s Of Gleducar, http://www.gleducar.org.ar Before beginning, it would want to clarify my respect towards the opinions of colleagues, intervening companions and other people in the subject the exhibition of these thoughts and ideas with respect to the New Technologies of the Information and the Communication (Ntic' s) is only one opinion, which took to us to reflect on: what is the Ntic' s really? as what they serve to us, the Ntic' s, in our education? the investment is worth the pain of these Ntic' s in the Education? What are the Ntic' s really?

The New technologies of the Information and the Communication are only computer tools and computer science that they process, they store, they synthesize, they recover and they present/display information represented in variable form. They are never going to happen to be more than a support, set of tools and/or channel for the treatment and access to the information. Like for example the digital slate (conformed by a PC and a projector), blogs, podcast and, by all means, the Web and wikis As it explains this extracted definition, but adapted, of an article of the Wikipedia (http://es.wikipedia.org/). I believe that it is clear that the Ntic' s will be still, neither the more nor the less, diverse and potential, communication tools. As which they serve to us, the Ntic' s, in our Education? The answer is depends. Then if, it depends much on the use that we give these tools. The use of the same can give the most important upset to our Education. And this thought not more than a simple one watched the past. They only think that one of the most important channels of the human growth (during the course of its history) was, and will always continue being, the Communication. From the beginning, rather before, of history and to today, the communication fulfilled one of the most important rolls, beyond the diverse aims that occurred to this means. That it had happened with the present present if the knowledge were not had, of a form or another one, “heredado‿ during the course of history. Then we would be locked up in a true infinite circuit, where the past he is equal to the present and this resemblance to the future. It would not exist the fire, there would not be languages, you speak, nor to think about the writing. That it dehorns truth! But, by nature, the human being stands out to have the capacity to reason, this does not imply he always uses that it. Thanks to the reasoning that does to the same development of the human thought, he is that we are in this era of technological development; but also it is truth that thanks to the fact that we did not use always this reasoning, is that we have the present global imbalances.
Sometimes he is not enough with having an idea, since without making of that idea a verb, never he is going to happen to be what is. Then, now we see the roll of the communication in our history. Doubt that the Education always depended, in its totality does not fit almost, of the communication like means. Therefore we determined (since the beginning of the decade of the 21st century) that the New Technologies of the Information and the Communication will comprise of the base, from now on, of the human knowledge. The investment is worth the pain of these Ntic' s in the Education? It is always necessary to consider that the Ignorance is more expensive than the Education. Of course, that always was worth and will be worth all those investments that help our Education, to advance a step more day to day. No matter how hard the results of these investments are seen in the long term; they are necessary to never finish in an infinite circuit. I finalize with an interesting phrase… … To remember whenever the human thought belongs to him to the world and that our limit we put us we ourself…. CAPACITY TO HANDLE SOURCES OF INTELLIGENCE,
Definition: The capacity to handle sources of intelligence is the disposition, the talent and the aptitude that a person owns for, to identify and to consult any agent able to transmit knowledge, related to the necessity of corresponding information. The students who demonstrate this competition clarify the reach and the implications of the problem or the necessity of information which they are led and worry to investigate by the possible sources of intelligence; they realise activities to accede to them they take and them like reference for his works from class. The students who demonstrate this competition, present/display the following behaviors: They investigate with the professor and the companions on the sense, the implications and reaches of the problem or necessity and on possible sources of intelligence of any type (oral, written, audio-visual). They consult well-known relatives or who can know or are related to the subject. They consult some library (of the university, the house, the public office or) They generally present/display in the class some publication or he photocopies of some document or he acquires some text book. In the works written generally they present/display a bibliography of main consulted works. The students who do not present/display this competition, generally: For his works and participation in class they lean exclusively in the notes, they take when them. They acquire or generally they obtain solely to the text guide who recommends the professor. As suggestions to develop this competition must: To permanently raise on the part of the professor the reflection on the importance of the diverse sources of intelligence. To use on the part of the professor diverse sources of intelligence, hopefully contradictory or with different points of view and them to provoke the controversy and to try to secure the manifestation of the students by some of them. To recognize the students especially who display this competition. To especially review the storing of diverse sources of intelligence for the works or practices in class.
OBJECTIVELY VERIFIABLE INDICATORS OF THE COMPETITIONS FOR THE SIGNIFICANT LEARNING
They are the set of variables or criteria that indicate the degrees of accomplishment (predicted or real) of the competition. They are the concrete signs, the significant phenomena that they are possible to be observed and that they govern each competition. The objectively verifiable indicators fix the level of necessary effectiveness for the profit of the objective. They specify the tests necessary to establish if the objective, the results or the products were reached. In relation to the objective, the results, show: the amount, the quality, the time, the place The objectively verifiable indicators, emphasize the most important characteristics of the competition and form the base for the pursuit and evaluation of the performance in front of her The stages for the establishment of the objectively verifiable indicators are: a. - To identify the indicator. b. - To establish the amount. c. - To establish the quality. d. - To establish the period. e. - To delimit the region. “An indicator is objectively verifiable if different people who have used the same procedure of measurement obtain the same results in independent form of others” (10) A good indicator is: i. “Essential, that is to say, it reflects the specific content of an objective in precise terms. II. Oriented to the objectives that is that consider the relations sufficient mean-aims as far as quality and the time to reach the required level. III. Reasonable, that is to say, the registered changes can be given directly to the work with and in the competition; IV. Independent, it differs in his content from which is in the level immediate inferior to him, so that the degree of fulfillment of the objectives can be measured directly and in independent form of the used consumptions” (11) In the initial stages of the exposition of indicators, these are only comparative values, that serve to analyze the concept quantitatively. It is examined what consumptions must be used to reach the quantifiable results, products or impacts. These values of reference must be reviewed again as far as the competition and, in necessary case, be replaced by dedicated displays of the competition. For this exercise we will use the procedure indicated thus: Identification of the Indicator: The student with capacity to handle sources of intelligence will present/display in his works written, an adapted consulted bibliography support, soon the indicator will be: the number and quality of the bibliographical appointments in the documents that present/display like part of the exercise of negotiation simulation that is realised within the course. Criteria to establish the indicator: Amount: The greater presented/displayed bibliographical bench mark in the demanded works Quality: that the mentioned bibliographical references are pertinent and certain. Period: During the accomplishment of the exercise of simulation, developing of the course of Negotiation of Technology.
AVERAGE OF CHECK OF THE INDICATORS OF THE COMPETITIONS FOR THE SIGNIFICANT LEARNING
“They are the sources of intelligence and the technique of data collection that will be used to measure the objectively verifiable indicators” (12) The verification sources show to us: Where the test is obtained of to have reached the characteristics of the competition, the objectives or the results waited for as far as the competition. Where the data necessary are obtained to verify the indicator. In order to establish the verification sources the following aspects are important: i. The sources of intelligence exist (Statistical, observations, notes, registries) II. That so trustworthy they are the sources of intelligence? III. It is necessary to collect but data? IV. If a verification source is not obtained, the indicator must be modified. For the case of this exercise the verification sources are the documents written that each one of the groups give during the exercise. The verification process will be the one of the visual inspection and the verification of relevance and certainty of the presented/displayed bibliographical appointments. It is necessary to indicate that, due to the design of the exercise of simulation in which groups are satisfied that represent the different actors in a negotiation from technology, such as, the company, the suppliers, organizations of investigation and development, the press and the government among others, this indicator will measure the capacity to handle sources of intelligence of the respective group, because the presented/displayed documents are collective, but in case of presenting/displaying each participant individually its respective document, the indicator also is valid
